Mabelvale Methodist Church is a community of believers seeking to know Jesus Christ, grow in His grace, and faithfully live out the gospel in our everyday lives.
We believe faith is more than something we practice on Sunday morning. It shapes how we love God, care for one another, serve our neighbors, and share the hope of Jesus Christ.

We are a congregation of the Global Methodist Church, rooted in the historic Christian faith and the Wesleyan tradition.
Scripture is at the heart of our life together. We believe God's grace not only meets us where we are but continues working in us, transforming us more and more into the likeness of Christ.
Together, we worship, pray, study God's Word, share in the sacraments, and encourage one another as we seek to follow Jesus faithfully in every part of life.

Meet Our Pastor
Pastor John Forthman
At Mabelvale Methodist Church, we believe that following Jesus is a lifelong journey of growing in faith, grace, and love. Pastor John Forthman is passionate about helping people know Jesus Christ, understand God's Word, and discover what it means to live out their faith beyond Sunday morning.
John is currently studying at Wesley Biblical Seminary and pursuing ordination as an elder in the Global Methodist Church. His approach to ministry emphasizes biblical preaching, prayer, discipleship, and helping people experience the transforming grace of God in their everyday lives.
John and his wife, Julie, are grateful to be part of the Mabelvale church family and enjoy serving alongside a congregation committed to loving God, caring for one another, and reaching into the surrounding community.
